Graybox

I was the Director for Graybox's team of ten. We created the Puzzle Platformer Graybox.

My Roles:

I was the Director of the Graybox project, I also did Level Designing, Art, and Writing.

Director Role:

I pitched the idea of creating a puzzle platformer where you place blocks to get the player to the end. The team fell in love with the idea, and we ended up spending three months making this game. As the director I created a workflow using Trello and Discord using the Agile Methodology. I did a very good job stopping road blocks for each discipline, by giving assignments that all flowed together.

Writing:

I spent alot of time with the two other writers creating a story that fits within the bounds of gameplay. We weren't able to impliment the story and dialogue, because of my own mistake of losing sight of our three month scope. I blame myself for some of my teammates work not making it to the final iteration. Nonetheless we did create a story and all the lines needed to portray it. 

The story of Graybox follows a husband and father named Michael overworking himself. The gameplay is his walk home. Before every level, Lisa calls Michael worried about his health as he is overworking himself. His health slowly deteriorates until he dies in the last level right before the end. 

We created CCDs for Michael and Lisa and worked together on the lines said. I personally did the CCD for Michael: Michael CDD
